
Widget
Widget is 3D printed and plays an important rule in redesigned cystoscope as photon engine, which responsible for detect the bladder and transport the data.




Widget - Photon Engine
A 3D printed widget and a caliper is received. Figures show the widget from different direction.




Sketch
Figure1 shows the 2D sketch of widget with dimension. Figure 2 shows a picture which is modified by Photo shop. Figure 3 shows drawing of widget in third angle projection.




CAD of Widget and sheet metal
A 3D model of widget and sheet metal that supports the widget based on Fusion 360. Last figure shows the flat pattern of the sheet metal.




Calibration of Widget
Draft Analysis is applied in this section to make sure the widget is injection moldable. Figures show the widget after calibration and widget under draft analysis.

Cystoscope
Redesigned cystoscope is meant to improve upon current model. The redesigned cystoscope is easy to hold; the handle is also rotatable for physician to handle in different position.




Sketch

Injection Molding
Draft Analysis is applied in this section to make sure the cystoscope is injection moldable. Figures show the cystoscope under draft analysis.




FEA Analysis
FEA Analysis is applied in this section to make sure the cystoscope is stable under static pressure. By removed the filleting on the edges of cystoscope, the safety factor increased and the cystoscope is more stable



LBM Analysis
Labor, Burden, Material analysis is used to analyze the expense of material and costs for employees. Figure 1 shows the LBM Analysis of the cystoscope and it is connected to the google file. Figure 2 shows an poster of the cystoscope.
